About Us

Jackson is an internationally recognized, academic health system comprised of six hospitals. It is also home to the Ryder Trauma Center, and the UM/JM Burn Center. There are also community clinics and several specialty centers located strategically throughout the Miami-Dade community. In addition there is an HMO and JMH Health Plan. There are 2,482 licensed hospital and nursing home beds. Jackson is also an international destination for patients seeking advanced, life-saving treatments.
