This position reports directly to the Event Operations Manager and is responsible for supervision and direction of electrical/water service setup and housekeeping staff team and temporary labor employees in their duties of general building cleaning, as well as event room/hall set-ups and breakdowns as required for the Miami Beach Convention Center, campus and associated exteriors parcels (Pride Park, Collins Canal Park, Venu & Rum Room).
Miami Beach Convention CenterUnder the direction of the Director of Event Services, the Event Operations Manager provides leadership to the Event Operations team. Responsible for scheduling and supervision of all building housekeeping, event set-up, groundskeeping team members, and department contractors for the MBCC campus. The incumbent also ensures that the building is kept in a clean and orderly manner as well as effective coordination with the department team members to carry out efficiently all client requirements.
Miami Beach Convention CenterThe Utility Woker’s role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to janitorial, housekeeping, and event/room set-up tasks, as directed by either the Event Operations manager, assistant Event Operations Manager and/or the Event Operations Supervisors.
