“Oh honey, I would, but ... I don’t want to.”
Don’t be like Karen Walker when it comes to defining your legacy.
No matter what your economic or marital status—whether you’re living like Karen & Stan, Will & Grace, or “Just Jack”— estate planning is something EVERYONE needs to address. Regulations are complicated and tax rules are constantly changing, but the need to have key documents ready and plans in place are a constant.
Join us for a fun-yet-fact-filled afternoon, starring the high-energy team of “David & Liz”, who will address estate planning challenges specific to LGBTQ individuals in a supportive and interactive atmosphere.
Attend this engaging presentation to get practical advice on …
• Creating an estate management checklist
• Ensuring you have completed the critical estate documents
• Learning the 4 steps to valuing an estate
• How marriage may affect your Social Security, means-based benefits, and create unanticipated tax liabilities
• Safeguarding your digital estate
• Maximizing your charitable gift and generating potential tax benefits
• Making a lasting impact with charitable gifting through community foundations
All attendees will have the chance to win a copy of "Before I Do: A Legal Guide to Marriage, Gay and Otherwise" by Elizabeth Schwartz, featuring the dos and don’ts for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people—and anyone else—who may be considering marriage.

worth and dignity of every human being. Everyone is welcomed and accepted in our office.”
