Summer Jazz Series at Faena Theater

Curated by Grammy-nominated producer Rachel Faro and hosted by the legendary Grammy-nominated percussionist, Sammy Figueroa, the 2020 installment of Faena’s Summer Jazz Series will feature intimate performances by rising timple player German Lopez, trumpeter Brian Lynch with The Stamps Jazz Quintet and singers Monsieur Perine, Alina Engibaryan, Laurin Talese. Host Sammy Figueroa will present ‘Sally’s Tomato’ a tribute to the music of Cal Tjader while grammy-winner John Daversa plays along side the Frost concert jazz band.

The fourth annual Summer Jazz Series at Faena Theater debuts on March 25 with monthly performances through September. Past artists of this exciting series include Grammy award-winner Jazzmeia Horn, Grammy nominee Christian Sands, rising pianist Matthew Whitaker, Venezuelan singer Maria Rivas and singer/composer Allan Harris.
