Known for his dazzling technique and boundless creativity, Mike Gerber has long been regarded as one of South Florida’s most exceptional pianists. His performances combine the sophistication of classical music with the freedom and intensity of jazz improvisation.    Blind and partially deaf since birth, Gerber’s journey is as remarkable as his musicianship. A prodigy who made his debut with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra at 15, he went on to study at the University of Miami, performing alongside legends such as Dizzy Gillespie, Jaco Pastorius, and Pat Metheny.
